CLASSIC MOTORING

As many readers of this column will know,  Jonathan Bye, director of Eric Lloyd & Co, has a great interest in all things motoring.  He is often seen in Brixham in his 1980’s Mercedes referred to by many as the “Greek Taxi”!  As part of this interest Eric Lloyd & Co are supporting the Brixfest Heritage Vehicle Rally held on the Breakwater Car Park in Brixham on the evening of Wednesday 31st May.  Jonathan is co-ordinating entries for this rally and entry forms are now available from him at Eric Lloyd & Co’s Brixham office – 01803 852773.  This rally is the finale to the Brixfest Heritage Festival held over the weekend of the late May bank holiday.  Some of the festivals highlights are the heritage sailing regatta, gig boat racing, musical entertainment and a spectacular firework display – make a note in your diary.   For most classic car owners good garaging is an essential element of a property purchase, with a double garaging being the ideal.  Currently Eric Lloyd & Co has a good selection of properties listed with double or twin garages.  In Galmpton these include bungalows in Higher Warborough Road and Greenway Park.  In Broadsands Park Road is an elevated bungalow with a wide block paved drive and large garage.  Properties in Brixham with double/twin garages include an outstanding individual home in Brimlands, a three bedroom bungalow in Washbourne Close, a bungalow in Rea Drive, large chalet style bungalows in Wall Park Road and Dasphers as well as a modern four bedroom detached house in Summer Lane with both a double garage and a large driveway in front.  To view call 01803 844466 or 852773.
