Eric Lloyd & Co has just made a presentation of £1,000 to Rowcroft Hospice, the firm’s chosen charity for 2017.  Eric Lloyd & Co’s directors, Jonathan and Bill Bye, made the presentation to Rowcroft’s fund raising manager, Hayley Norrish.  This donation is the first part of the firm’s pledge to donate a percentage of our commission upon the sale of all properties listed between January and March.  Further donations will be made as further sales of these listings complete over the following weeks.  Eric Lloyd & Co also supported the Galmpton Festival Association’s recent Open Gardens and Famous Faces Scarecrow Trail event in the village.  Over £1,150 was raised during the day with the proceeds being in aid of Rowcroft Hospice and other local charities.  Despite a damp start the day was a huge success with 13 gardens and floral displays on show complimented by some amazing scarecrows!   Next in Eric Lloyd & Co’s 2017 fund raising campaign for Rowcroft Hospice is the Sleep Walk on Saturday 8th July.  A team of our ladies is entered for this event.  Rachel Cowls, Tina Barber and Vanessa Ripley are tackling the ten mile walk, while Annette Bye and Jill Sloley have signed up for the five mile course.  Vanessa’s sister Nina is also joining the team for the ten mile circuit.  This is one of Rowcroft’s main fund raising events of the year with thousands of pounds being raised over the years.  The ladies sponsorship forms are now in the office.  All offers of sponsorship or donations will be gratefully accepted.
