TEAMWORK.

Monday 4th March 2024 marks the 200th anniversary of the founding of the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).  To mark this milestone in the organisation’s history an impressive flotilla of six lifeboats assembled in Tor Bay last Sunday morning for a demonstration run before entering Brixham harbour in line astern prior to mooring  up alongside each other.  The flotilla was led by Brixham’s all weather lifeboat followed by other lifeboats from along the coast of South Devon.  Being a volunteer member of a local lifeboat involves a huge amount of team work.  Whilst it is vital that the actual crew on a lifeboat work together as one unit, the support team onshore are equally essential  in ensuring that each “shout” achieves the best possible outcome.

Teamwork also applies to an estate agency operation.  For many people the face of estate agency are the valuers and listers visiting properties to give advice and prepare marketing material and the sales team showing properties and arranging sales.  However behind these folks are other equally important members of the team.  These team members endeavour to make sure that once a sale has been agreed it reaches a successful conclusion, keep all the administration and marketing up to date and make sure the myriad of legislation is complied with.
