Spring bank holiday weekend is the Brixfest weekend in Brixham when the port boasts a kaleidoscope of events and activities as well as being host to the 103rd annual Heritage Sailing Regatta.  The focus of the weekend is the harbour and the sea of the bay.  Saturday is billed as the “Flagship Event Day” with music and food stalls around the harbour culminating with the Grand Firework Display.  The Dragonboat Challenge is the headline event on Sunday with Bank Holiday Monday being the Children’s and Heritage Activity Day.  Brixham’s fleet of classic sailing boats and trawlers will be joined by other classic vessels for various events and parades in the bay.   Brixfest concludes on Wednesday evening (May 31st) with the classic vehicle rally, supported by Eric Lloyd & Co, taking place at the Breakwater Beach Car Park from 6.00 p.m.  Jonathan Bye, director of Eric Lloyd & Co, will have his vintage Austin on show during the evening.  There are still a few spaces left for entries to this rally.  If you would like to enter a classic or vintage vehicle please call Jonathan on 01803 852773.  Full listings of the festival’s events can be found at www.brixfest.com. Eric Lloyd & Co’s Brixham office has a great selection of properties listed for sale ranging from a Holiday Lodge at Landscove Village on the market at £39,950 through the traditional choice of cottages, houses, bungalows and apartments as well as some outstanding properties on the market at prices in excess of £0.5m.  For details call into our office in Fore Street or call 01803 852773.
