Set sail to Brixham this weekend for the 2016 Brixfest celebrating Brixham’s Past and Present. The highlight of the weekend is the 102nd Annual Heritage Sailing Regatta which takes place in the shimmering blue waters of the bay on Saturday 28th May. Over the weekend there will be a variety of events in and around the harbour. Take your place for the Grand Fireworks Display on Saturday evening at 9.50 p.m. The first ever Brixfest Dragonboat Challenge takes place alongside the Breakwater on Sunday. Monday 30th May is 1960’s day with a 1960’s Tea and Cake Tent, 1960’s Music and a 1960’s vehicle display. The festival concludes on Wednesday evening with a Heritage Vehicle Rally from 6.00 p.m. at the Breakwater Car Park. Eric Lloyd & Co’s 1925 vintage Austin Van will be on display making its debut fresh from a full repaint. A complete spectrum of vehicles will be on show from a 1920’s Vauxhall through to an Aston Martin Vantage!
