ROWCROFT

Rowcroft Hospice is a place and organisation close to the hearts of many South Devon residents.  It is known for the outstanding care and support it provides not only to its inpatients but also within the wider community through it outreach services and support.  Eric Lloyd & Co was proud to support last weekend’s hugely successful Galmpton Festival Association’s Open Gardens Day.  A large number of visitors toured the spectacular gardens on show.  Clearly hours of dedication had been spent by the various owners to bring everything to perfection for the day.  The total proceeds raised have not yet been finally added up, however a significant part of the funds raised will be donated to Rowcroft Hospice.  Later this week the Second Greenway Singing Night takes place at Greenway House on Friday 15th June starting at 6.30 p.m. also in aid of Rowcroft Hospice.  The event, supported by Eric Lloyd & Co, is set in the walled garden of Greenway House, Agatha Christie’s holiday home on the banks of the river Dart.  The evening will feature “Odd’s and End’s” swing jazz band, “The SeaGalls” ladies choir, “One Accord” vocal group with a finale by “Quay Harmony”.  Last year’s event was truly delightful, an evening not to be missed.  Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children available from Galleon Stores, Galmpton and One Stop Stores at Churston Broadway.  Members of the audience are welcome to bring their own picnic suppers and liquid refreshments as well as chairs or rugs to watch the show.
