Last Saturday saw Brixham hold its annual ‘Lanterns, Lights and Luminations’ event which included a host of local entertainment including music and street food. Although the weather may have been against us, the event went ahead with great success on every part. As 5pm rolled around, the Lantern parade began at Rockfish and made its way around the harbour and back to Middle Street. The enthusiasm showed the strong community spirit, with everyone getting involved and bringing their own lantern to show off around the town. The day ended with a spectacular firework show as well as the official switching on of the Christmas lights with the one and only Santa Claus being a guest celebrity. Not only are the harbour lights in full beam for the next few weeks but our local residents have already started to show their Christmas lights off in full fashion. If you are hoping to market your property in the next couple of weeks, it’s good to hold off on the Christmas decorations until your photographs are taken. Bill Bye Director of Eric Lloyd & Co says ‘The key to getting immediate interest on your property, is a strong gallery of photos that represent your property through all times of the year.’ If you would like to have a free no-obligation marketing valuation please do not hesitate to phone one of our property professionals.
