DON’T DELAY.

Eric Lloyd & Co’s offices have been exceptionally busy during August and September with a record number of sales agreed in the pipeline combined with a very healthy flow of new listings coming to the market every week.  Bill Bye, director of Eric Lloyd & Co, commented that “this surge in activity is a combination pent-up demand built up during the total lock down period and the Chancellor’s Stamp Duty holiday which ends on 31st March 2021.  Whilst March 2021 sounds a long way off it is important that anyone considering selling takes advantage of this current busy period in order to have completed a move before the deadline expires”.  He added that “It can take anything up to three months for an agreed sale to actually complete.”

The team at Eric Lloyd & Co understand that some would be home sellers are wary of putting their property up for sale during the current Covid19 situation.  In order to re-assure sellers Eric Lloyd & Co, have Covid19 procedures in place to minimise the risk of infection for home owners, viewers and the firm’s own staff.

All members of the Eric Lloyd & Co teams wear masks and gloves when entering a property and only touch necessary hard surfaces.  Viewings are usually only arranged with buyers who have a genuine interest in a property and are in a position to move forward with a purchase in order to restrict the number of people visiting a property.  We also insist that all potential buyers also wear a mask/face covering and gloves during a viewing.
