FIRST IMPRESSIONS.

The old adage "you only get one chance to make a first impression" is equally relevant to property sales as it is to an initial meeting in person.  It is important that as far as possible that the initial impression of a property for sale is as favourable as possible, whether on line or in the bricks and mortar.  With the arrival of summer now is the time to have a tidy up in the garden - clear away any remaining debris from the winter months and give the grass a trim.   For a potential buyer doing a drive by the front garden forms part of a "first impression".  Stand back and look at your property in the eyes of a potential buyer.  Likewise the lead photo on an on-line listing is equally important.  If your property was initially listed on a dull day in the spring or winter months ask your agent to retake the outside photos to present a fresh look to potential buyers.  Bright sunny photos greatly enhance that vital "first impression".
