HARBOUR OF LIGHTS

This weekend sees the return of the ‘Lanterns, Lights, and Luminations’ parade, taking place in the heart of Brixhams town centre. Eric Lloyd & Co were very pleased to have supported this fantastic day which never fails to impress. This spectacular event sees a festival of lanterns float through the night followed by a burst of colours light up the sky in a breath-taking firework display. The parade will start at The Quay and make its way through the town along Middle Street & Fore Street before coming back around to the harbour. Throughout the day there are plenty of stalls and entertainment to enjoy, including Live Music, street food and children’s entertainment. This is headed by the switching on of the Christmas Lights by none other than Father Christmas himself, specially invited to get us all in the Christmas spirit. Not only that but the famous Churston Steam Train of Lights is soon to begin at the end of the month. Making its way from Paignton to Kingswear, the train is decorated inside and out in Christmas Lights, offering some of the best seats to take in all the Bay has to offer. Local events such as these are what makes the run up to Christmas so memorable.
