This weekend the country celebrates Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee, marking 70 years of service to our country and the Commonwealth.

Brixham town will be celebrating this anniversary with 40 free public events spread across an ambitious five day programme.  The public launch will be at Brixham Yacht Club on Wednesday 1st June at 5.30 followed by a 1950’s quiz.  The Celebrations Parade will assemble on Friday and will set off at 10.30 from the Man and Boy statue parading up Fore Street, down Union Lane and into the Town Square where there will be a Service of Thanksgiving.

A whole programme of events have been organised over the long weekend and details can be found on www.brixhamfuture.co.uk

Estate agency offices have changed considerably during the Queen’s reign, we now offer colour photographs, virtual tours and floor plans as well as advertising on the internet.  A far cry from the 1950’s when there were no photographs and the rooms were measured by pacing out the size of the rooms.

If you are in town, then please pop along to our office.  We will be closed on the Bank Holiday Thursday and Friday but open again on the Saturday.
