Monday the 11th November 2019 marks 101 years since the end of World War One. Remembrance Sunday will take place on Sunday 10thNovember. There will be Armistice Parades in Brixham, Paignton and Torquay. Starting at 11am, the service will honour the service and sacrifice of our Armed Forces community, the British and Commonwealth veterans, the Allies that fought alongside us and the civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars and later conflicts. The turnout across the whole of Torbay is always strong, showing the strength of the community.

This community strength shows the spirit of the towns we live in. Many community events happen across the Bay throughout the year attracting many new home owners to the area. Bill Bye Director of Eric Lloyd & Co Estate Agents says “From first time buyers to retiring couples, we see a whole range of purchasers that are looking for a quieter, and more neighbourly location to live in. Brixham, Galmpton, Churston, Paignton, Marldon and Preston offer this fantastic community spirit.”

Eric Lloyd & Co helps out where possible when the community comes together. Recently we have supported events such as Galmpton Bonfire and Fireworks Night, Galmpton Open Gardens, Hookhills Cherry Pie Fair etc etc.
